Located on the banks of the river running through Kawazu, this annual festival celebrates the early blooming cherry blossom trees lining a 4-kilometre walking route. It takes place from mid-February to mid-March. Street vendors sell regional products such as mikan, Japanese mandarins, green tea, and many cherry blossom-flavored sweets. Please check the website for daily events and festival information. In the evening, visitors can stroll among the illuminated trees.
