This restaurant specializes in “Kappo” cuisine, fine cuisine at the counter. The chef and guest face each other and each dish is served “in the kitchen”. Everything is prepared right in front of the guest, using fresh ingredients chosen by the chef. Shunbo Sakai offers a constantly changing menu with at least 30 seasonal offerings at one time. As the menu range can become overwhelming for guests, it is recommended to ask for the chef’s “osusume” (recommendation).
