Located behind Shinbaba Station, this senbei (roasted rice cracker) store has been in operation for over 50 years. Osho Senbei’s rice crackers are shaped like shogi (Japanese chess) pieces. Visitors can buy individual pieces for around ¥70 or packages. Senbei are traditionally baked or grilled over charcoal and brushed with sauce. Osho Senbei focuses on a handful of flavors such as genyaki (soy sauce), goma (black sesame), aonori (embedded seaweed) and nori (senbei wrapped in a piece of seaweed).
