Located just south of Nosoko town, this river winds its way through a forest of mangroves, which are trees that can grow in salt water. The Fukido River empties into a crescent-shaped bay with a picturesque beach. Visitors can access the beach by crossing the Fukido Bridge and following a small trail. During low tide, crabs and mudskippers become visible between the mangrove trees. Private companies offer kayaking tours during the day. Bookings should be made at local tour offices before noon.
