景点信息

This bridge leads to the holy sanctuary of Okuno-in Temple, one of the largest cemeteries in Japan. It spans across the Tamagawa River, where pilgrims cleanse themselves before entering the sacred site. Okuno-in houses the mausoleum of the Japanese monk Kobo Daishi, also known as Kukai, founder of the Shingon sect of Buddhism. The Miroku stone, believed to be an indicator of sins, can also be found in this part of the temple grounds.
